Ann would not swim flooded rivers anymore
or would not set free her inner prisoners now she's obliged to kill them at the first shot helped by the extraordinary oddity of the attack whatever she does can't be very satisfactory because the question she had expected did not come and so she could not give the answer she had prepared with a lot of impatience life has powers of which nobody is sure and she's too short to reach it like a train which is too slow to be called an express Ann knows her life is a shirt too dirty to wear she's too poor to buy a large house or this book is too difficult for her to read she also knows she's too old to marry herself those are simple truths from her peculiar life the doors were never open for her except to air so there was no reason for her to be alive but she continued to fool her own death Ann describes herself as being a big-boned woman with facial hair and large features but she's tall with big boobies and a nice face - an unbounded belief in human doubt she wants to be her own cat to see how it feels to be excessively loved a snake sleeping in the grass will bite if there are any treads upon it this is like an announcing letter and Ann feels like a little snake carried into a sluggish mirror just flecked by light strokes now she's sitting by the window watching two parents with their child returning home ...
